00:30 One of our connectivity providers is currently experiencing technical problems and customers on our shared and dedicated server clusters in our Dublin datacente may be unable to connect to servers at present. We are awaiting for an update from our datacentre engineers.

00:36 Connectivity has now been restored and all our servers are back online. Engineers have advised us that bad weather is affecting one provider and traffic is being re-routed via other providers. We apologies for any inconvenience caused.

15:20 Our DNS nameservers are currently receiving an inbound DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack which can affect network speed and latency, which means some sites may load slower than normal or time out. We are working to block this attack.

18:15 There is a large inbound DDOS (Denial of Service) attack currently on-going. We are working to filter out the offending traffic. All servers are working although websites may sometimes timeout.

22:10 This attack is still on-going. We have blocked the vast majority of offending traffic and we are continuing to do so as new IP addresses are detected.

12:50 We are aware that one of our virtual server nodes has stopped responding and therefore some virtual servers are currently unavailable. We are working to fix this urgently.

13:03 This issue is now resolved. All servers affected should be back online within a few minutes. We apologise for any inconvenience. Update to follow.

12:45 We are aware that the ‘supertuxy’ server has stopped responding. We are working to fix this urgently.

12:47 Reboot under way.

12:54 Technicians are currently working on this server.

13:02 The server is forcing a hard drive scan. We’ll keep the blog updated as soon as there is any more information.

13:21 Resolved: Server back online. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We had to run a hard disk scan but luckily it did not find any data corruption and the server came back online without any problem after the scan finished.
