Problem with power supplies in Chicago datacenter

3.30pm CST
We are aware of a power problem in our Chicago datacenter that is currently affecting customers on our shared and dedicated server clusters. Our datacentre engineers are working urgently to fix the problem.

3:45pm CST Our datacenter have advised that they are experiencing building-wide power issues that have resulted in a partial power outage affecting the cabinets where our servers are located. Engineers are working to fix this as quickly as possible. We’ll bring you an update as soon as have more information.

3:55pm CST Engineers have advised that there is a electric groud fault on the main power panel. Datacenter staff are waiting for the problem to be fixed by engineers and once clearance is given the servers will be powered back up as soon as possible.

4:30pm CST Power has been restored to our all servers. We apologise greatly for any inconvenience this power outage has caused. We have requested a full report from our datacenter.

Problem with connectivity provider in Chicago datacenter

We are aware of a connectivity problem in our Chicago datacenter that is currently affecting customers on our shared and dedicated server clusters. Our datacentre engineers are working urgently to fix the problem.

7.37pm CST Our datacenter has reported that they are currently receiving an inbound DDOS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack which can affect network speed and latency, which means some sites may load slower than normal or time out.

8.00pm CST Our datacenter have blacklisted all the offending IP addresses and technicians will continue to monitor the network to ensure that they are blocking them all.

8:25pm CST This issue is now resolved. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

One of our connectivity providers is currently experiencing technical problems and customers on our shared and dedicated server clusters in our Dublin datacente may be unable to connect to servers at present. Our datacentre engineers are working urgently to fix the problem.

12:16 Connectivity has now been restored and all our servers are back online. We apologies for any inconvenience caused.
