Technical problem with ‘cpanel51′ server

We are aware that the ‘cpanel51′ server has stopped responding. We are currently investigating this problem.

17:19 There is a technical problem with the hypervisor software on this server. We have advised the emergency technical team in our London datacentre and they are now investigating.

17:47 All services are now coming back online. We thank you for your patience. We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. We will do our utmost to prevent this problem re-occuring.

We are aware that the ‘cpanel51′ server has stopped responding. We are currently investigating this problem.

01:41 There is a technical problem with the SAN disk storage attached to this server. We have advised the emergency technical team in our London datacentre and they are now investigating.

02:00 We have been advised that the problem with the SAN disk storage is now resolved and that the server should be back online shortly.

02:05 All services are back online. We thank you for your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.

The ‘cpanel2′ web server will be under-going web server updates.

Maintenance Window : Saturday 25 June from 02:00 to 04:00 local time

Time Zones:  2-4am local (Irish time)

Reason: We will be installing new software and making customizations to this web server to increase performance and security.

Websites on this server may be unavailable or show an error message for a short time during the maintenance window. Other services such as email and FTP will be unaffected. We apologise for any inconvenience. We will do our utmost to keep downtime to a minimum.

Scheduled Maintenance – Ireland Webworld Datacentre – Upgrading Primary Router (Friday 17th June 5am-6.30am)

Maintenance Notice – Tallaght, Dublin 24, Ireland Datacentre
Our Tallaght, Dublin datacentre was experiencing intermittent network flapping on one of their connectivity providers last night between 00:30 and 02:00. They have therefore scheduled maintenance on their primary router tomorrow morning to find and fix the problem causing the network flapping. Technicians will be upgrading the IOS on the primary Cisco router, adding additional network interfaces and updating peering rules. There will several short periods of downtime while this upgrade takes place, but this is expected to last only a few minutes during the maintenance window.

Maintenance Window : 17/06/2011 from 05:00 to 06:30.

The ‘cpanel51′ web server will be under-going a disk drive upgrade.

Maintenance Window : Tuesday 14 June from 03:00 to 05:00 local time

Time Zones:  3-5am local (UK time)

Reason: We must increase the disk drive space available on this cloud server. This requires that the server is shutdown while the disk space is adjusted.

We apologise for any inconvenience. We will do our utmost to keep downtime to a minimum.

Problem with ‘cpanel51′ server

We are aware that the ‘cpanel51′ server has stopped responding. We are working to fix this urgently.

11:03 We have been advised that there is a connectivity problem at our London datacentre which is currently affecting the cpanel51 server. Technicians at the datacentre are working to resolve the problem.

11:11 The server has started responding again. We are currently verifying that all services are online.

11:15 There is a problem with one of the hard drive partitions. Our technicians are working to resolve this problem.

11:25 The hard disk drive is forcing a fsck disk integrity check. We are currently working on this.

11:50 The disk integrity check is still in progress.

12:40 The disk integrity check is still in progress. It is currently on ‘Pass 2′. There are 6 passes to complete in a disk integrity check. The first check always takes the longest and the subsequent 5 checks are shorter.

13:45 The disk integrity check has finished. The server is now rebooting and we will verify that services are coming back online.

13:49 All services are now back online. We apologise for any inconvenience that this disruption has caused.
