Technical problem on cpanel3 server

We are aware that this server has stopped responding. Our technicians are working to fix this problem as quickly as possible.

07:00 This server has stopped responding and we have rebooted it. The previous uptime was 85 days. We are monitoring the server startup.

07:05 Unfortunately the hard disk drive is forcing a fsck disk integrity check. This is a safety measure and it does not mean there is any problem with the hard disk drive. The server cannot startup until the disk integrity check has completed. We are currently working on this.

08:00 The disk integrity check is still in progress. It is currently 70% complete.

08:38 The disk integrity check has finished. The server is now rebooting and we will verify that services are coming back online.

08:40 All services are now back online. We apologise for any inconvenience that this disruption has caused.

We are aware that a number of websites on the cpanel3 server are displaying an Internal Server Error message. We’re currently investigating this problem.

Problem with connectivity in Dublin Clonslaugh datacentre

We are aware of a connectivity problem in our Dublin Clonslaugh datacenter that is currently affecting customers on our shared hosting and virtual servers. We are awaiting more information from datacenter engineers.

13:50 We have been advised that a power board has failed in the Cable & Wireless (Dublin Clonslaugh) datacentre. Technicians are working to resolve this problem. The vast majority of our systems have automatically switched to failover power B circuits however two systems have not automatically switched. This is affecting the switch/router connecting the cpanel1 shared hosting server and a small number of VPS customers.

14:05 Clarification – It’s not just a problem with a switch/router. One of the power boards at the datacentre has failed. We’ve updated our last post to provide the correct information.

14:30 This problem is on-going. Please be assured that the datacentre technicians are working to resolve it urgently. Thank you for your patience.

15:08 Connectivity is now restored. All services are back online and should be back to full speed within a few moments. We apologise for any inconvenience this downtime has caused. Thank you for your patience.

We are aware that the cpanel51 server is currently experiencing technical problems. We are currently investigating.

14:44 The server is receiving an exceptional amount of traffic. We are working to stabilise it.

14:52 To stabilise this server we have restarted all the services. They should all be working within a few minutes. We apologise for any inconvenience that this disruption has caused. We are continuing to monitor this server.

15:02 We are still seeing some issues with this server. Our technicians are working on it.

15:13 All services are back online. Thank you for your patience.

We are aware that the cpanel51 server is currently experiencing technical problems. We are currently investigating.

00:52 The technicians at the datacentre have said they are aware of a problem and they are working to fix it urgently. We are waiting on more information.

01:01 Our datacentre technicians have advised us that there is a temporary problem with the connection to the SAN disk storage. We expect this to be resolved in the next 15 minutes. Thank you for your patience.

01:20 The technical problem is now resolved but we must restart the server to get everything back online. Please standby…
