Technical problem on cpanel51 server

11:50 This server was rebooted after a power outage at the datacentre. The system is now performing a fsck disk integrity check.

11:50 The cpanel51 server is currently running an fsck disk integrity check. This is a standard check and once it is complete the server will start up. We anticipate that this will take 60-90 minutes and unfortunately this is unavoidable.

13:20 The fsck integrity check is taking longer than anticipated. It’s currently at 55%.

14:25 The disk integrity check has finished. The server is now rebooting and we will verify that services are coming back online.

14:30 All services are now back online. We apologise for any inconvenience that this disruption has caused. Thank you very much for your patience.

Technical problems in London datacentre

We are aware of a technical problem in our London datacenter that is currently affecting customers on our shared hosting and virtual servers. We are awaiting more information from datacenter engineers.

10:50 We have been advised that a power board has failed in the datacentre. Engineers are working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible. Many of our servers are still online but unfortunately our storage servers are offline.

11:10 We have been advised that the problem is now resolved and servers are gradually being powered up.

11:25 This is still on-going. Our technicians will be going through each server as they come online to check for any problems.

11:50 All servers are now back online, with the exception of the cpanel51 server (please follow this thread for information).
